Stage 4 of CityVillage fast tracked to meet Robina demand

By | CBDRobina, CityVillage, Robina Group | No Comments

Robina Group has pushed forward another release of new homes at its $200 million CityVillage, following unprecedented sales momentum across its residential developments in Robina.

Since the start of the year, Robina Group has notched up close to $62 million in sales across its CityVillage and Riverlily projects, both located at the heart of Robina.

The previous stage of 35 homes at CityVillage sold out in just two days, for a total of $16 million, following their release in March.

Strong sales in the first stage of Riverlily terrace homes, launched in April, prompted the developer to fast track the second and final stage of that project, with just a few terrace homes now remaining, priced from $449,000.

The new stage at CityVillage, stage four, will comprise 33 three bedroom homes, including 20 premium waterside properties overlooking a lake, with prices starting from $529,000.

The release includes the first three level homes at CityVillage, which feature a courtyard on the lower level plus balcony to the main living space, with a total of three separate living spaces, three bedrooms, a media room, two bathrooms and a powder room.

When the first four stages are complete, CityVillage will feature a total of 130 terrace homes across a four hectare lakefront site fronting The Crestway, Robina Parkway and Christine Avenue, just a stone’s throw from the Robina Town Centre.

Robina Group residential sales manager Azura Griffen said demand was outpacing supply for new properties in Robina, creating a need to bring more homes to the market.

“A lot of buyers missed out on the previous stage at CityVillage, because it sold out so quickly, and they have been waiting for us to release the next stage of the project,” she said.

“The level of interest in property in Robina is only continuing to rise and we’ve been fast tracking the design and construction of our developments just to keep pace.

“Robina is a highly sought after residential address because of the unparalleled mix of amenities on offer literally at the doorstep, including Robina Town Centre, schools, Hospital, Bond University and Cbus Super Stadium, and its relative ease of access.”

William Moran purchased a three bedroom, double garage, home in stage three of CityVillage, after missing out on the previous stage.

“Stage two went so quickly and when we went to view stage three there were only four remaining, so we were fortunate to secure our place in the community,” he said.

“We already had a home in Robina, but wanted something that was easier to maintain and being a brand new property, we knew we would get that.

“Our existing home sold within a week of going to the market, so everything just fell into place.”

Mr Moran said he moved to Robina in 2001 and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.

“It is so easy to get around and a very livable area,” he said.

“CityVillage itself is close to the Robina Town Centre, the highway and all the amenities that I use on a regular basis, so it is a really convenient lifestyle.

“I’m originally from the UK, where I lived in a terrace home, so I loved the easy maintenance that came with it, which allows more time to pursue my hobbies.”

All homes in stage four of CityVillage will include three bedrooms, a media room, two bathrooms and a powder room.

Ms Griffen said they would also offer gourmet kitchens with stone bench tops, quality European appliances, study nooks and abundant storage spaces, along with the latest interiors and styling, in-line with cutting-edge architectural trends.

“The new release will include the first three level waterside homes to be offered in the precinct, which have been modeled on the latest design trends,” she said.

“Like all homes in CityVillage, they will also offer a truly ‘walkable’ lifestyle, with direct pedestrian access to the Robina Town Centre

“All of the homes are also freehold, which is appealing to purchasers as it means there are no body corporate fees to consider.”

CityVillage Stage 3 Sell Out

Swift Sell-Out for CityVillage

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

Almost $16 million worth of residential property has sold in a two day sales blitz by the Robina Group which launched the third stage of its highly sought after CityVillage terraces.

Robina Group director Tony Tippett said 32 terrace homes were snapped up by local and interstate purchases with local real estate agents lining up on behalf of their clients at the sales office in scenes reminiscent of the halcyon days of the property market some 10 years ago.

“The sales demand has been outstanding,” said Mr Tippett.

“Word got around that we were launching the third stage early, following the sell-out of stage two this week and we knew there was some pent-up demand based on the enquiry that had built up in recent weeks, but we never expected anything like this.

“To have local agents lining up on behalf of their clients to secure property in CityVillage terraces tells us the strength of our product and the ongoing demand for high quality property in the Robina precinct.

Stage three consists of 32 homes which run along Fairlight Avenue and Parnell Boulevard, with rear access to Surrey Lane.

Priced from $479,000, the freehold terraces feature contemporary designed, open plan, internal living spaces with stacking doors which open to covered external entertainment areas with lush, landscaped gardens.

With the combination of modern external features and a selection of two internal schemes – warm classic or industrial luxe to choose from, the CityVillage terraces have hit a chord with buyers looking for the modern, inner city feel terrace home.

Mr Tippett said CityVillage has presented itself as a favourite for both owner occupiers and investors.

“We’ve gained traction with both sections of the market because investors can see strong returns and owner occupiers see the quality lifestyle on offer here,” he said.

“When it comes to purchasing property buyers want value for money, a great location and a quality product and we believe that CityVillage has definitely delivered on these fronts.”

Set on a four-hectare lakefront site, CityVillage Terraces is located in the heart of CBDRobina and has frontage to The Crestway, Robina Parkway and Christine Avenue.

The terrace homes are within walking distance of Robina train station, Robina Hospital and Medical Precinct, Bond University Institute of Health & Sport, Skilled Park Stadium, public and private schools and several golf courses.

City Village Terraces is being marketed by Azura Griffen of Robina Residential Marketing.

Promising start to 2014 set to continue after RBA leaves cash rate on hold

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

The Gold Coast City property market’s promising start to 2014 is set to continue following the Reserve Bank of Australia’s (RBA) decision to leave the cash rate unchanged at 2.5%.

According to several sources, the property market Australia-wide is on the move, with entry-level to mid-range properties in capital cities leading the charge and Gold Coast City following suit.

RP Data recently reported an increase in capital city dwelling values of 2.7 per cent for the three months to end of January, 13.2 per cent since the beginning of June 2012 and 4.8 per cent higher than the peak in October 2010.

The report states that this strong performance is partially due to the introduction of financial and government subsidies and incentives for the first home buyers to build.

An article in the Property Observer provides further evidence of growth, particularly in the new home market, reporting data from the Housing Industry Association revealed an increase in sales for the first time in five years.

According the article, the 2013 figures showed aggregated new home sales climbed by 6.3 per cent in the final quarter and a 14.4 per cent rise during the year, indicating the first year of growth since 2008.

Dr Andrew Wilson, Senior Economist for Australian Property Moniters has reported that house prices should increase by between 5 and 7 percent over the year.

Residential sales manager at Robina Group, Azura Griffen said the growth in the market has been reflected by the increased enquiries received for CityVillage, CBDRobina’s most recent lakefront residential development.

“We have received a significant amount of enquiries during January and with the RBA’s decision to keep interest rates on hold, we are expecting this trend to continue,” she said.

“The entry-level to mid-range buyer is pioneering the increased activity in the market and our CityVillage development is ideal for that demographic.”

Stage two of CityVillage was released in September and already more than sixty per cent of the terrace homes have sold or are under contract.

Featuring two bedroom terrace homes priced from $449,000 in stage two, CityVillage offers buyers a lakeside community lifestyle just a short walk from Robina Town Centre.

The CityVillage sales and display centre is open Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 5pm at The Crestway, Robina.
