THE LAUNCH of stage two at Robina Group’s $200 million CityVillage project was met with a whirlwind of local interest which saw the developer clock up 11 sales in just 24 hours.
The release of the second stage of contemporary terrace homes follows the sell-out of the project’s first stage of 30 residences in the first week of December.
Since its launch a week ago, a further six terrace homes have been snapped up, bringing the second stage to 50 per cent sold.
Robina Group director Tony Tippett said the sales surge, attributable mainly to local owner-occupiers, was extremely pleasing.
Mr Tippett said CBDRobina’s significant geographic, demographic, key infrastructure and lifestyle advantages were decisive factors for buyers and were instrumental in attracting both end-users and investors.
“It makes a project in such a location a strong investment and lifestyle proposition,” Mr Tippett said.
“All terraces feature individually designed facades and their contemporary architecture has really struck a chord with buyers.”
The project is just a few hundred metres from Robina Town Centre’s shopping dining and entertainment precinct and within walking distance of Robina’s medical, transport, education and commercial hub, making it a very convenient and attractive place to live.
“For these reasons, buyers to date have been a mix of local owner occupiers, first home buyers as well as local, interstate and overseas investors,” Mr Tippett said.
“There has been a strong level of interest from first home buyers who are keen to take advantage of the $15,000 Great Start Grant for new homes while it’s still available.
“We’ve also noticed that empty nesters looking to downsize to a more convenient and low maintenance lifestyle have pushed sales along.”
Stage two, which is now already more than 50 per cent sold, comprises 35 terrace residences and heralds the introduction of the first two-bedroom product along with three-bedroom plus media/study dwellings.
Set on a four-hectare lakefront site, CityVillage Terraces is just 450m from Robina Town Centre in the heart of CBDRobina and has frontage to The Crestway, Robina Parkway and Christine Avenue.
Priced from $449,000, stage two residences sit on freehold titles with contemporary open plan internal living spaces which open to covered external entertainment areas with lush, landscaped gardens.
Civil works are underway with the building phase of CityVillage Terraces stage one to start in early January.
With a population of more than 500,000, Gold Coast City is now Australia’s sixth largest city, growing at a rate of 4.8 per cent per annum over the past 10 years.
Robina has added a unique dimension to the fast growing city and with the benchmarks of urban status now in place, it stands at the threshold of its most exciting phase.
Now a vibrant satellite city with almost 30,000 residents and a thriving and vibrant community, the Robina story is without equal.
Testament to the success of Robina Group’s terrace home model, the developer’s Paddington Terraces @ Robina project became the only Gold Coast development to receive an award at this year’s 2013 UDIA Awards for Excellence when it took home the Large-Medium Density Development accolade.
