Bohème Apartments at Robina has reached a major milestone, with construction heading skywards this week as Robina/Varsity Lakes continues to solidify its position as Gold Coast City’s centre for population and employment growth.
The dual tower development is more than 60 per cent sold, with sales topping $41 million, driven by local first home buyers, professionals and empty nesters along with southern investors.
Construction of the two basement levels and podium has just been completed for tower one, which will comprise 52 apartments across seven levels, paving the way for the building to ‘come out of the ground’.
The tower, being constructed by Brisbane based builder Cullen Group, is due for completion later this year.
Leading Australian futurist and demographer Bernard Salt and independent property analyst Urbis Research have both identified Robina/Varsity as one of Gold Coast City’s principal growth area over the next 35 years.
By 2050, Robina/Varsity’s resident population and employee base are expected to more than double, with the area’s economy predicted to grow 280% to $5.4 billion annually.
The Robina Group sales manager Azura Griffen said buyers were looking to purchase now to take advantage of today’s prices and get in on the ground floor of the forecast future growth.
“Buyers are confident in purchasing off-the-plan property in Robina because of the established infrastructure, as well as the future growth potential which will continue to underpin their investment,” she said.
“Bernard Salt’s latest demographic modelling shows Robina’s population will increase 126% by 2050 and that the area will continue to cement its place as the city’s centre for business and innovation.
“Savvy buyers are looking to step into the Robina/Varsity region ahead of this growth, and are viewing Bohème Apartments as a prime opportunity to take advantage of the anticipated upward trend in the market.”
There’s already an additional $1 billion-plus in development and infrastructure investment underway in Robina, which will ‘future-proof’ the area and deliver new projects to meet the needs of its growing population and workforce.
Bohème Apartments is part of The Robina Group’s $250 million CityVillage masterplanned community, a waterfront urban village at the heart of Robina. When complete, it will comprise a total of 129 apartments across two towers.
The apartments are located on an elevated site overlooking a lake, with resort-style central facilities including a pool and barbeque terrace. The community is well connected to major roads and public transport, and is within easy walking distance of Robina Town Centre and 5 mins drive of Bond University and Somerset College.
Two bedroom apartments at Bohème Apartments start from $459,000.
